Professional Development & Conference Bursary

The Professional Development & Conference Bursary helps Wabanaki learners and professionals access opportunities that support their professional and career growth.

Whether you’re attending a conference, workshop, training program, certification course, or another professional development opportunity, this bursary is designed to help reduce financial barriers so you can continue building your knowledge, skills, and professional network.

Funding

Successful applicants may receive up to $3,000 to help cover eligible costs associated with professional development opportunities.

Application Information

Applications are accepted throughout the year and are reviewed on an ongoing basis. To be considered, applications must be submitted at least four weeks before your professional development activity begins.

Who Can Apply?

The bursary is intended to support Wabanaki learners and professionals (up to age 35) who are either currently employed or in their final year of study and are pursuing professional development opportunities that contribute to their educational, professional, or career goals.
