As chiefs and leaders of our communities, it is our mission to:
- Work with and support Atlantic Indigenous communities to achieve their philanthropic plans and goals;
- Create and manage new endowment funds, including specific donor advised, donor directed, field of interest and scholarship funds;
- Identify and pursue impact investment opportunities with other Foundations and potential investors that will achieve community benefit and development;
- Take a leadership role in strengthening the relations between the philanthropic sector and Indigenous communities in the Atlantic region and across Canada; and
- Increase public understanding of the opportunities for First Nations and philanthropy.
