Forward Together CONNECTING PHILANTHROPY AND iNDIGENOUS COMMUNITIES TO FOSTER COLLABORATION, SUPPORT AND PROSPERITY October 17-19 | Fredericton Convention Centre

PURPOSE

Join Ulnooweg Indigenous Communities Foundation for its first Forward. Together. Connecting Philanthropy with Indigenous Communities gathering as we work side by side to strengthen relationships, understanding, and collaboration between philanthropy and Indigenous communities. The gathering will be held in Fredericton, NB from October 17-19, 2023.

To build these stronger connections, growth is required.  In our Indigenous communities, we need to build capacity and increased understanding of philanthropy and how to access it.  To connect in meaningful ways with Indigenous communities, the philanthropic sector needs to have an understanding of Indigenous philanthropy, Indigenous ways, and impactful ways to engage.

The importance of building capacity and increasing our understanding cannot be understated. This gathering will serve as a catalyst for further conversations, will create new connections and will begin to help us think differently as we move toward the transformations needed so that Indigenous communities and the philanthropic sector can form strong, impactful and effective partnerships….moving Forward.Together.
